As a Learning Sciences client, you will have the opportunity to join Learning Notes, an exclusive organization formed to allow clients to share their experiences, research, problems and best practices related to the implementation of e-learning environments in an open, honest environment.

Learning Notes strives to:

• Provide a better understanding of e-learning approaches, techniques and instructional theory as it relates to a corporate learning environment
• Provide insight on similar projects within your individual work environment
• Provide recommendations and models for real-world analysis and deployment
• Establish best practices for work force development
• Ensure best practices are developed and put into use by establishing real-world specifications, documentation and
  guidelines
• Create an open environment amongst members to share information
• Reduce the risks of participating members associated with engaging in deployment or upgrading of e-learning environments
• Promote strategic thinking to anticipate what the e-learning environment of the future may look like so members may begin to plan on a long-term basis

Learning Notes focuses on a more in-depth understanding of learning environments, instructional design theories, learning and content management systems, talent and performance management systems and courseware development. Sessions topics may include identification of drivers and defining the value for corporate learning environments, a definitive explanation of tools associated with e-learning environments, assessing real-world needs and identifying the functionality and role of the management system, discussions on industry standards and the future of e-learning environments as a whole.

Members will receive published “notes” from each forum as well as a shared knowledge and better understanding of the e-learning industry, analysis of best practices, case studies and organizational strategies. Members will also receive the annual Learning Notes Vision Report, an annual summary of all discussions, research and industry trends.

Learning Notes membership is limited to members with like learning investment needs and requirements. Membership is free with participation.

Each member is asked to host at least one meeting in either an online, video conferencing or in-person format, and provide the published “notes” from each session to all attending members.
